According to Chinese
Medicine, radishes are
excellent for damp-type
conditions. And cysts,
endometriosis, fibroids and
PCOS are all examples of
dampness. Radishes act as
an astringent, so it’s great for
water retention and candida.
Roasted Radishes:
ingredients
3 bunches radishes (small to medium)
1 cup of snap peas
3 medium sized carrots
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp fresh thyme
Juice from half a lemon
Salt & cracked pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 450.
Place radishes and carrots on a baking sheet and toss with
oil, thyme, salt and pepper. Roast until tender but firm –
roughly 20 minutes.
Squeeze with a little lemon juice and serve.
Serves 3-4 (One serving size is 1 cup)
